About Us
CMe Automotive is a specialist automotive marketing agency helping dealerships across the UK increase visibility, generate quality enquiries and grow their businesses through smarter marketing.
Founded in 2021 by Charisse Smith, CMe Automotive was created after recognising a gap in the market for an agency that genuinely understood the automotive sector. Charisse’s career in advertising began at just 16 years old, selling advertising space for a scuba diving magazine before moving into media and automotive advertising. Her experience working with dealerships during her time at Wave 105 radio provided valuable insight into the challenges faced by retailers and the importance of effective marketing within the automotive industry.




Before launching CMe Automotive, Charisse founded CMe Media from her dining room table. What started as a small media consultancy quickly grew into a successful business specialising in media planning, digital marketing, content creation and creative services. As more automotive clients joined the portfolio, it became clear that dealerships needed a dedicated agency built around their specific needs, leading to the creation of CMe Automotive.
Today, CMe Automotive works alongside its sister company, CMe Media, with a growing team of marketing specialists supporting dealerships throughout the UK. Our clients range from independent single-site operations through to large dealer groups and multi-franchise retailers, each with their own objectives, challenges and opportunities.
We support dealerships across every stage of their marketing journey, from Google Vehicle Ads, Google Ads and SEO through to Meta advertising, social media management, creative design, content creation, video production, media buying and traditional advertising channels including radio, TV and billboards.
As one of the original agencies involved in Google’s Vehicle Ads beta programme, we’ve been helping dealerships maximise the potential of GVA since the platform’s early days. Today, we manage campaigns for more than 30 dealerships nationwide and support the advertising of thousands of vehicles every month.
What makes us different is our combination of automotive expertise and a personal approach. We understand that no two dealerships are the same. Whether you’re a family-run independent retailer or a large dealer group, we take the time to understand your business, your stock profile and your goals before recommending a strategy.
